Privacy Policy

Short version: your Lifeboard is private to you, your selfie face is only shared if you are signed in and choose to use it on your avatar, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

Account: email, password (handled by our login provider, Supabase), display name, username, city if you add it. Public profile: your name, status ring, life paths, causes, bio, avatar look and, if you add one, a small copy of your selfie face so other players see the real you. Private Lifeboard: goals, journal, trackers, reminders, money calculator inputs, letters to future you. Only your account can read it. Activity: messages you send, posts, Global Match listings, reports.

What stays on your device

Guests keep everything in the browser on their own device. Fingerprint and face unlocks use your device's built-in passkey system; your biometric never leaves your device and we never receive it.

Who can see what

Your public profile and avatar are visible to other players. Direct messages are visible to you and the person you message. Room chat is visible to the room. Your Lifeboard is visible only to you. A small number of administrators can see account emails and reports to keep everyone safe.

How we use it

To run the world, show you to the people you choose to connect with, keep the community safe, and improve the site. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not show ads based on your Lifeboard.

Kids

Accounts are for ages 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, remove your selfie face, block people, and ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing info [at] eyetoad.com. We respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is stored with Supabase using row-level security, so the database itself only lets your account read your Lifeboard. No system is perfect, so please use a unique password.
